Robert Burko
President and Founder
Robert Burko, a native of Toronto, Ontario, Canada, is president and founder of Eliteweb.cc (www.eliteweb.cc). As president, Burko is involved hands-on in both administrative and operational tasks, working one-on-one with each of the company’s 15 employees throughout North America. He also oversees and participates in finances, research, concept development, human resources, marketing, communications, customer service, and Web site/graphic design.
Burko is a recent honors graduate of York University’s Schulich School of Business, ranked by Forbes magazine as the best business school in Canada. For four years, Burko developed Eliteweb while studying full time at Schulich, enabling him to harness the expertise of some of North America’s greatest professors and industry leaders—and some of his own most esteemed mentors—toward the continual improvement of Eliteweb. Burko’s professors have provided invaluable advice, insights and tips that have helped craft Eliteweb into the prestigious user-centric portal it is today.
Burko entered the business world at a young age. His professional experience has included serving as president of V.I.P. Jerseys, senior sales agent with Protect-A-Child, and media assistant for Echo Marketing and Advertising. In his free time, Burko enjoys playing and coaching baseball, traveling, and spending time with friends and family. |

Jeffrey Horn
Chief Technical Officer
Jeffrey Horn joined Eliteweb.cc in August 2004 as chief technical officer. In his role, Horn is intimately involved with both personnel management and technology development. In addition to overseeing the company’s development and systems staff, Horn is responsible for the strategic choice of technologies and platforms and the construction of web architecture and applications.
Horn most recently served as senior web developer for Scotts Valley, Calif.-based Pure Carbon, where he was involved with the development of software for company-based recruiting efforts, namely JobPlanet. He earned his master’s degree in mathematics from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and is currently working on his doctorate thesis in computer science at UW-Madison.
A Milwaukee, Wis., native, Horn is an avid musician who enjoys classical and jazz piano, as well as drums. He currently resides in De Forest, Wis., with his wife and their four children. |

Dan Koboldt
Vice President, Elite Business
Dan Koboldt joined the Eliteweb project in March of 2003 to develop the Elite Employee Scheduler. In 2004 he was promoted to Vice President of Elite Business; his responsibilities expanded to include development of the Elite Recruitment Manager applicant interface. He also participates in strategic development, interface design, and search engine optimization for the company.
Koboldt graduated from the University of Missouri - Columbia in 2001 with bachelor's degrees in Computer Science and French. He spent six months programming for a private database technology firm before leaving to found Erudite Systems, a web design/development company. In addition to his Eliteweb duties, Koboldt provides bio-informatics assistance to researchers at Washington University in St. Louis, where he is pursuing a master's degree in Biology.
A native of St. Louis, Missouri, Koboldt speaks fluent French as well as limited Portuguese and Spanish. He is a black belt in Tae Kwon Do and enjoys travel, especially by sailboat.
